• All work is to be submitted anonymously. There can be no identifying marks, insignia or logos of any type on the front or back of the submission that would identify them.
• Each submission must have all three forms (Entry Form, Statement of Authorship and School’s Attestation and optional Additional Info form) filled out, signed, and sealed in an envelope. The envelope must be taped securely in place on the back of the submitted work. Only at the end of the judging will the names of the competitors be revealed to the jury.
• If submitting more then one entry, each entry should have an envelope sealed to the back with all three forms (Entry Form, Statement of Authorship and School’s Attestation and optional Additional Info form). A copy of these forms is acceptable for the 2nd and 3rd entry. Numerous submissions from one author can all be in the same mailing/envelope. Group Submissions can also be in one envelope package, as long as each individual submission has the requisite envelope taped to the back of the submission.
• Before judging, Odegard staff will open these envelopes and label each submission with an identification number.
• If desired, each applicant may submit (up to) a one-page explanation of his or her design process/inspiration, artistic statement and/or construction notes/details. This is not required, however, this informational sheet will be taped to the back of every entry for which it is provided and jurors may read it during the judging process.
• Questions about the competition should be addressed to competition@odegardinc.com. No letters or phone calls, please. Competitors must not communicate with the jury about the competition in any way until a public announcement of the winners is made.
• All submissions must be received by November 20, 2009. Submissions received after the deadline date will not be considered, regardless of their postmark date.
